Introduction to Aikido Course

This course provides an effective and gradual introduction for beginners to explore the four basic principles of Aikido and how to apply them through select techniques. No prior experience in Aikido or Martial Arts needed. The intro course curriculum includes practicing safe falling techniqes, basic body movement, relaxation, and application of defensive techniques. These are foundation elements of Aikido practice.

  1. Saturday, April 24th, 12-1:30
  2. Saturday, May 1st, 12-1:30
  3. Saturday, May 8th, 12-1:30
  4. Saturday, May 15th, 12-1:30
  5. Saturday, May 22nd, 12-1:30
  6. Saturday, May 29th, 12-1:30

Cost
$100 (cash or check) at first class
$90 if you pre-register using the form below.

Upon completing the course, you will be eligible for another 6 classes free thereafter (any class except wednesdays). Please note that you will be required to purchase and wear a gi for these classes.

Requirements for class
Comfortable loose attire should be worn.
